• Egoltronics' Mark V Contact Printer
utilizes the MultiDodge control system to produce optimum quality prints and
diapositives. The Microprocessor controlled exposure produces maximum quality
and detail in highlight and shadow areas, which can be dodged independently and
incrementally.
• Dodging, or contrast compensation, can be accomplished manually or
automatically, using Egols' patented Prescan to measure Dmin, Dmax and Average
Density and automatically correct exposure and dodging levels. The result is
frame-to-frame consistency and repeatability.
• The combination of intensity modulation (IM) and velocity modulation (VM)
results in shorter exposure times, an extended dodging range, 2.4 density units
in each of four brightness levels (brightness range of 250:1).
• The menu driven keypad interface permits the user to establish and store
exposure and dodging setting for a wide variety of photographic materials and
imagery. Keypad entry is operator friendly, menu driven, and easy to understand
and operate.
• Enhanced contrast control and dodging are achieved by rigorous suppression
of electrical and magnetic interference and the reduction of flare and stray
light int he printer cabinet, optics, and the light source (CRT) itself.
• The Mark V's vacuum platen provides rapid and uniform contact while
eliminating pressure-generated distortion.
• Small area dodging is improved by the use of adjustable scanning spot sizes.
Exposure efficiency is maintained by increased CRT brightness combined with a
multiple sweep exposure.
• A variety of phosphors are available to optimize the CRT light source for
use with various original films, reproduction media and processing systems like
C-41 and EA-5.
• The Mark V is available in both 10"x10" and 10"x20"
formats and has a variety of options listed on the reverse.
