The Mark V FA incorporates all the features of the Mark V plus fully automatic transport.  The operator programs which exposures he or she wishes to print, and the Mark V FA will move to those exposures automatically and prints them.  The automatic Roll Transport moves the repro media each time the film moves.  The operator can also run the FA in step-and-repeat fashion to print an entire roll.  While printing is occurring the operator can do something else, as the Mark V FA does not need to be attended.  Irregular gaps between exposures is not a problem, as the advance system reads edges and does not depend on accumulation to step accurately.  The Mark V FA not only saves on labor but on repro paper or film.  Some customers have found that paper savings alone will pay for unit in a relatively short period of time.
